STAFFORD, VA — (WMAL)  A Vienna man is learning there are some places you really can’t get away with flipping the bird.

39-year-old Agostinho Antunes is spending 10 days in jail after sticking his middle finger up at Stafford Deputy Matthew Flick in the Stafford County General District Court.

It happened after a judge dismissed a misdemeanor charge against Antunes for public intoxication according to the Fredericksburg Freelance Star. Police found him drunk in the woods while responding to reports of a disturbance at a party on Main Street off Marlborough Point Road in Stafford in July.

To celebrate his victory, Antunes flipped the bird at the deputy who arrested him.

The judge found him in contempt of court and sent him to spend 10 days in the Rappahannock Regional Jail.
