Three Republican lawmakers are waiting to receive the unredacted memos crafted by former FBI Director James Comey about his conversations with President Trump, in the hours before the first of several television interviews with Comey are set to air.

House Judiciary Chairman Bob Goodlatte, R-Va., along with House Oversight Chairman Rep. Trey Gowdy, R-S.C., and House Intelligence Committee Chairman Rep. Devin Nunes, R-Calif., sent a letter last Friday to Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein requesting the Comey memos be made available “immediately” to all three committees. [Read More]

Food Stamp Usage Drops over Half-Million in a Single Month (Breitbart)

More than half a million people dropped off the food stamp rolls in a single month, according to the latest figures from the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA).

The USDA data reveals that a total of 587,792 people discontinued their participation in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) between December 2017 and January 2018.

The latest numbers show that on the whole, food stamp enrollment has been on a steady decline for the first quarter of fiscal year (FY) 2018, which began in October 2017.

Protesters on Monday packed a Philadelphia Starbucks – the site where two black men were arrested after store employees called police to say they were trespassing, sparking a days-long controversy.

More than two dozen protesters crowded the store and chanted “Starbucks coffee is anti-black.”

The Department of Justice Inspector General report on the “lack of candor” by FBI deputy Director Andrew McCabe also documents for the first time the Obama administration’s effort to shut down the bureau’s investigation of the Clinton Foundation, according to a review of the report by The Daily Caller News Foundation Investigative Group.

The inspector general (IG) confirmed in its long-awaited report released Friday that in 2016 the FBI had ongoing field investigations of the Clinton Foundation in New York, Los Angeles, Little Rock, Arkansas and Washington, D.C. The multi-city investigation was launched when agents found “suspicious activity” between a foreign donor and Clinton Foundation activity in the Los Angeles area, as TheDCNF reported in August 2016.
