The New York Times reported that there is “widespread speculation” Amazon could release another short list and cut the field again, beyond the 20 current finalists. [Read More]
President Trump continues to show improvement among African-Americans, but the NAACP Tuesday called him a racist.
In fact, in a new poll released by the group today, Trump’s approval rating among blacks has reached 21 percent, more than double what it was in an April Reuters poll.
But in its analysis, the NAACP slammed Trump and even went as far as claiming that Trump is setting race relations back, a charge that echoes recent media criticism of the president for slamming hoops star LeBron James. [Read More]
Liz knows how bad the system has gotten and is willing to step up and fight for our shared values and conservative principles.
She is a small business owner and author of Born Again Republican, the book about what she learned after leaving the Democrat Party, connecting with voters as an independent, and discovering that she is a conservative. Liz is on a mission to encourage more people to learn the truth about the democrat agenda to diminish our Republic and degrade the power of the voters through partisan gerrymandering. After running for Congress in 2016, Liz became very active in party building efforts across the state with the Maryland Federation of Republican Women and the Maryland Republican Party.
Her mother, Rita, is a naturalized American citizen from the Philippines and father, William, now deceased, was an American from East St. Louis, Illinois. Both were surgeons at Howard University Hospital. Many members of Liz’s family have served in the military, including her brother, Bill, who is a major in the United States Marine Corps, father (Air Force), aunt (Army), uncles (Navy and Air Force), and paternal grandfather (Filipino and US Army, survivor of the Bataan Death March). Democratic Maryland gubernatorial candidate Ben Jealous snapped at a reporter who asked him repeatedly Wednesday if he identified as a socialist, saying, “Are you f—ing kidding me?”

“What is your response to, first, the term socialist, whether you embrace and identify [as] it to any degree, and secondly, the charge about whether the state can afford you?” she asked. [Read More]

The White House pushed back against Sen. Rand Paul Wednesday after the Kentucky Republican implied on Twitter that President Trump had asked him to deliver a letter of introduction to Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Sebastian Gorka says there’s at least one actor who might be a (somewhat) good fit to play him: Russell Crowe.
“A lot of people tell me I remind them of Russell Crowe,” Gorka, a former Trump White House aide, told ITK on Wednesday at the premiere of Dinesh D’Souza’s “Death of a Nation.”
“And hopefully Russell Crowe in his heyday, not today,” Gorka, 47, added with a grin. [Read More]
Look, I’m exhausted. I’m overwhelmed. There’s a possibility I’m slightly buzzed. Maybe I didn’t see it, or possibly I managed to tune it out. Regardless of the circumstances, if you saw my kid being an a-hole, would you do me a solid and let him know?
Funny, our parents never had to utter anything even vaguely resembling that statement. Back when we were kids—when a payphone call cost a quarter and Val Kilmer was still kind of hot—any card-carrying parent could reprimand, scold, or even spank you, and woe to the child who deemed this unfair.
