• Aretha Franklin, music’s ‘Queen of Soul,’ dies at 76. She won 18 Grammy Awards, including a Grammy Lifetime Achievement nod, was the first female inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1987 and was anointed the No. 1 singer of all time by Rolling Stone magazine in 2008.
