Suspect charged with federal crimes in mail bombings to Dems (The Washington Times)

Attorney General Jeff Sessions announced on Friday that bombing suspect Cesar Sayoc Jr. has been charged with five federal crimes for sending explosive devices to more than a dozen Democratic political figures, celebrities and news organizations.
Sayoc, who was arrested in Florida earlier Friday, faces up to 58 years in prison, according to Sessions, who called his alleged actions “unacceptable.”  [Read More]

Roughly one year after U.S. Attorney John Huber was appointed to investigate whether accusations that the FBI and Justice Department abused their powers during the 2016 election season merit prosecution, his work remains shrouded in mystery.

Likely witnesses tell The Washington Times that they haven’t heard from him, though they are eager to tell what they know.
