WMAL listeners have generously contributed millions of dollars to the Fisher House Foundation to help build houses for the families of our injured veterans as they return home for treatment. Group homes at Bethesda, Walter Reed, the VA, Dover AFB, and more than 50 locations across the country provide a comfortable place for loved
ones to live while remaining close to their injured family member.

Once again, WMAL and the Fisher House Foundation are hosting the annual Fisher House Radiothon.

This year’s special Radiothon event can be heard on WMAL on Friday, December 1st and Saturday, December 2nd.  You’ll hear inspiring stories from the families who have benefited from your kindness in the past.

On December 2nd from 4pm to 7pm, we conclude the Fisher House Radiothon with a live broadcast at Fashion Centre at Pentagon City. Our WMAL hosts will be broadcasting live at the Dining Pavilion on the Metro level with interviews and stories from the families of our injured Veterans who have benefited from your kindness in the past. We hope you can join us for a special Fisher House Radiothon Friday, December 1st and Saturday, December 2nd.
