Andrew McCarthy: FBI Russia investigation was always about Trump (FOX News)

On Friday night, the New York Times published what was clearly intended to be a blockbuster report that, following the firing of FBI director James Comey on May 9, 2017, the bureau formally opened an investigation of President Trump. But in truth, the only thing the story shows is that the FBI, after over a year of investigation, simply went overt about something that had been true from the first. “Rick Scott looked at us and just shook his head. He said, ‘I reject your dismissal of Hispanic voters. We are going to pursue them, and we’re gonna pursue them hard,’” explained Anderson. [Read More]

P&G Challenges Men to Shave Their ‘Toxic Masculinity’ in Gillette Ad (WSJ)

Gillette is embracing the #MeToo movement in a new digital ad campaign aimed at men, the latest message from an advertiser attempting to change societal norms.

The ad, dubbed “We Believe,” opens with audio of news about the current #MeToo movement, bullying and “toxic masculinity.” A narrator then goes on to dispute the notion that “boys will be boys,” asking, “Is this the best a man can get? Is it? We can’t hide from it. It has been going on far too long. We can’t laugh it off, making the same old excuses.” [Read More]
