    • In windy and rainy conditions at FedEx Field, the Redskins fell to 1-6 after being shut out for the first time since Week 17 of last season.
    • San Francisco quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo was only 3 for 10 for 10 yards at halftime. He finished 12 for 21 for 151 yards and one interception.
    • Case Keenum completed 9 of 13 passes for 77 yards for the Redskins, who managed only 154 yards of total offense.
    • Adrian Peterson had 20 carries for 81 yards, but also committed a costly fumble in the third quarter with the Redskins driving for a potential go-ahead score.
    • San Francisco improved to 6-0 for the first time since 1990.
