630 WMAL Contest Rules
The following rules apply generally to all 630 WMAL on-air and online contests. However, at certain times particular rules will not pertain or additional rules may apply.
1. No purchase is necessary. Void where prohibited.
2. Contests are open to legal
3. Contestants can only win a contest once every 30 days.
4. Call-in contests will normally fall into the following categories: Correct caller wins: In this case the on-air personality will announce specifically what number caller will win. 630 WMAL is not responsible for contestants inability to complete or conclude a call at the specified time whether due to telephone equipment malfunction, busy lines, disconnections or other circumstances. Only call to the designated number(s) will be eligible to win. Correct caller with correct answer: In this case contestant not only has to be the designated caller, as selected by the station, but must also correctly answer the question. In the event the contestant is the correct caller but provides the wrong answer; the on-air personality will take the next random caller. The contest will continue until a selected caller has the correct answer and the prize is awarded. Online contests: Applicable rules will be listed at the time of online contest launch.
5. Contestant name, voice, city and state of residence may be used for promotional purposes without any additional permission or compensation.
6. Decision of the judges is final with regard to all contest matters.
7. No cash value, substitution of prizes or transfer of prizes will be allowed, except that contest sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion to substitute prizes of comparable value.

10. By entering any contest, winner agrees to release and hold harmless 630WMAL, Citadel Broadcasting Corporation, its affiliated and subsidiary companies and contest sponsors against any and all claims or liability arising directly or indirectly from contestants' participation in the contest or acceptance or use of the prize. Upon request, winner will promptly complete and sign any documents effectuating this release.
11. For Web-Related Contests: Not responsible for contestant’s inability to access the Internet due to ISP downtime, computer failure, equipment malfunction, disconnections, busy lines, misdirected e-mail, submission errors or other circumstances or incapacitates relative to web access or to game application. Decision of the judges is final and binding with respect to all contest related matters.
12. These are general contest rules and can be superseded by individual contest rules at the discretion of 630 WMAL.
13. In the event that an enter-to-win contest is conducted inside a venue requiring paid entry, entry forms and boxes are available outside of admission entrances so that entry may be made with no purchase of admission tickets required.
14. All participants are bound by these rules.
