New figures seem to suggest the odds of getting caught avoiding the toll on the Dulles Toll Road are slim.
There were more than a million toll violations last year, about one-percent of the total traffic on the toll road,
But according to The Examiner, only 95-thousand of those million drivers ever got a ticket in the mail. And less than a quarter of THOSE people ever paid the ticket.
The toll road is operated by the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority. A spokesman says the one-percent violation rate is low compared with other toll roads'.
