Security Breach: TSA Cleared a Fake Bomb

(NEW YORK) -- There's been a shocking security breach at Newark-Liberty International Airport as security agents failed a critical test.

A Transportation Security Administration official has confirmed to ABC News that a federal agent managed to get a fake bomb past screeners not once, but twice.

The agent hid the explosive device in his pants and was cleared to board a commercial flight even after a pat-down.

The TSA official says these tests are done all the time and there are successes and failures. The official wouldn't give a pass-fail rate.
