The Northern Virginia Association of Realtors® Takes its Members Further With A New Brand Identity, Logo, Tagline, Magazine, Online School
Fairfax, Virginia — The Northern Virginia Association of Realtors® announced the introduction of its new logo and tagline, as well as the related launch of its new online school, RazorPathTM, and its redesigned magazine, now called RE+View. The identity system is the first significant change in NVAR’s look in more than 20 years, and follows the implementation of a new strategic plan created in 2012.
“NVAR Leadership and staff are committed to finding new ways to deliver services that exceed the evolving demands of our members,” said NVAR Chairman of the Board Jon Wolford. We want to keep our services and our attitude fresh. Our new NVAR look is a symbol of our commitment to stay in the forefront of emerging trends and services and our new online school – RazorPathTM is a model for delivering educational needs for the entire industry. ‘Takes You FurtherSM,’ is our motto and our promise to continue to do whatever it takes to provide our members and our affiliate members with the best Realtor Association in the country.’’
NVAR’s new brand features a bold design that effectively unites the association’s real estate identity with an image that evokes market metrics and our region’s changing landscape.
Streamlined editorial and graphic content characterize NVAR’s redesigned RE+VIEW magazine. The bi-monthly publication, delivered in print to members and available publicly online, offers industry and association news designed for the Northern Virginia practitioner.
Spearheading the brand reinvigoration effort is Warren McKenna, Principal of McKenna Design Group a communications and technology company from Chicago. Warren McKenna adds, “it takes a great organization and a willingness to reposition itself for the extraordinary. We are honored to collaborate with NVAR on this exciting journey. The new brand identity, tagline ‘Takes You FurtherSM’ and RazorPathTM online school signal to members that NVAR is innovative and ahead of the curve. NVAR is positioned to deliver tangible services and value to increase members’ potential for excellence. In the field, this value is carried on as a direct benefit to better engage consumers in the market place.”
RazorPathSM, NVAR’s ambitious entry to the world of online Realtor® education, offers unparalleled access to continuing education, special programs and online video. Agents can sharpen their skills 24-7-365 at RazorPath.org. “These changes expand NVAR’s capabilities to meet the needs of Realtors® and Affiliate members who also want to take their business to the next level,” said Christine M. Todd, NVAR Chief Executive Officer. “We take great pride in having built an association that has emerged as a leader, and the driving forces that have led to this: our proven record for excellent member benefits and services. We feel like we’ve communicated that very well with these changes.”
