NEW YORK — (CNN) Donald Trump took to social media on Friday to announce that he had just purchased NBC’s half of the Miss Universe Organization, which puts on the telecast for the Miss USA pageant and Miss Universe.

“Now own 100% — stay tuned,” Trump tweeted.

An NBC spokesperson confirmed the transaction. The price was not announced.

The business mogul also said that he “settled all lawsuits” against NBC.

Trump’s company had previously said that it was going into arbitration with the network over the alleged breach of contract.

The move comes after the network announced on June 29 that it would be ending its business relationships with Trump. This led to the telecast of this year’s Miss USA pageant to be canceled.
