Trump Knocks ‘Sad’ Obama’s ’60 Minutes’ Interview

(CNN) — Donald Trump on Monday said he thought President Barack Obama’s “60 Minutes” interview that aired Sunday night was “terrible,” “sad,” and “all negative.”

Trump, who appeared on the CBS program the previous week, knocked Obama on both his “performance” and on issues — from climate change to the Trans Pacific Partnership deal, which Trump dubbed a “disgusting trade deal.”

“Well, I watched his performance last night and I thought it was terrible. I thought it was sad because everything’s negative. It’s nothing positive,” Trump told Fox News on Monday morning.

Asked on the program about Trump’s chances in the presidential race, Obama demurred, but said Trump would not be the next president.

“He can’t say, ‘I think he’s going to make it,’ in all fairness,” Trump said of Obama’s prediction. “He can’t say…’Well I think he’s going to be the next president.'”
