COLORADO SPRINGS — (CNN) Police said Friday they were responding to a call of an active shooter in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
“The area is NOT secure,” the city’s police department said via Twitter.
The shooting took place on Colorado Springs’ Centennial Boulevard, though the exact location was not immediately reported. Nor was it known who, if anyone, might have been shot and in what their condition was.
The city, in the central part of the Colorado, has more than 400,000 residents.
