Obama to Travel to San Bernardino

President Barack Obama hailed the acceptance of a final draft of an ambitious, global climate change agreement in Paris, calling it a "historic agreement."

WASHINGTON — (CNN) President Barack Obama will travel to San Bernardino, California, on Friday to meet privately with families of victims of the terror attack that killed 14 people earlier this month, the White House announced Wednesday.

Obama was previously scheduled to travel to Hawaii for his holiday vacation with the first family on Friday. He will now continue on to Honolulu following his visit to California.

The White House did not provide any additional details of the trip.

In a rare speech from the Oval Office following the attacks, the President pledged to overcome the threat of terrorism.

“We will prevail by being strong and smart, resilient and relentless,” Obama said at the time.
