WHEATON, MD — (WMAL) A Montgomery County school bus drove onto a Wheaton homeowner’s front yard and crashed.

There were no students on the bus at the time, and there are no reported injuries.

The crash happened near Randolph Road and Connecticuit Avenue and the bus stopped only a few feet away from the house.

Pete Piringer of the Montgomery County Fire Department posted a picture of the bus on Twitter and called the incident a “property damage collision.”

“I don’t have any idea how it occurred, other than where it ended up,” Piringer told WMAL.
