ILLINOIS — (CNN) Minor league baseball player Brandon Thomas was living the dream.
The Gateway Grizzlies outfielder hit a grand slam during the second inning of a game Sunday night.

We all know what that sounds like: the crack of the bat, the roar of the crowd as the ball streaks out of the stadium, the wail of an alarm as the ball hits a car in the parking lot.

It was only after the game that Thomas realized he’d smashed the windshield of his own ride, but he was totally OK with it.

“Definitely worth it,” he tweeted.

No word on if Thomas is going to wait until after the season’s over to get the windshield fixed. Baseball players are a superstitious bunch, after all.
