Road rage on the Beltway is not uncommon for drivers making the dreaded rush-hour commute.

But a Sunday morning incident involving a Pennsylvania-plated car, 2 handguns, and a two-year old child seems to have taken the concept to an entirely different level.

According to a press release from Maryland State Police, the drivers of the car, Eric Arroyo and Courtney Fisher, pointed a loaded handgun at another car while driving along I-495 and I-95 in Montgomery and Prince Georges County.

When police finally stopped the car at I-83 and Warren road in Baltimore county they found two loaded pistols, marijuana, and a two-year old child, who police say is now in the care of its family and uninjured.

Both Arroyo and Fisher are being held without bail and are charged with multiple counts of unlawful possession of a firearm in a vehicle, and civil possession of marijuana.

This is the second gun related incident on the Beltway in recent weeks.

On July 2nd a 55-year-old man was shot on in his car on 495 for unknown reasons.

Police also released mugshots of the two accused drivers:
