BALTIMORE (WMAL) — The Redskins will face off against the Ravens tonight at 7:30 at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore
The pre-season contest will be the first Redskins game to air on WMAL in 26 years.
The broadcast begins with pre-game coverage at 6:30 on AM 630 and 105.9FM in the DC area.

Its the 10th pre-season meeting of the “battle of the beltway” teams, with Baltimore leading the series overall 6-3.
And while fans of both teams are eager to get this first glimpse of their respective squads in action, Larry Michael, the voice of the Washington Redskins, cautions that we probably won’t see either team’s full firepower:
“Traditionally in the first pre-season game, you don’t see the starters go very long,” Michael told WMAL’s Mornings on the Mall.
“They get one good drive under their belts, I think that’ll do it for them,” he added.
Yet, there are still plenty of reasons to tune in to today’s game according to Michael, not the least of which is to get a first glimpse of a newly re-tooled Redskins wide receiver corps.
“As far as Kirk Cousins and the offense is concerned, he’s got some new pieces, some new wide-receivers,” Michael explained. “It’ll be interesting to see how that first unit works – if they work and they look good I think that’s what you’re looking for. If you’re a Redskins fan you want to see that offence go down and get a touchdown.”

The Redskins offence went through some off-season drama when star quarterback Kirk Cousins was signed on the short-term franchise tag.
This, along with other factors, have led many onlookers to predict that Washington will finish last in their division this year.
After this game, the team heads back to Richmond to close out the last few days of training camp.
Thursday’s game will be broadcast live on WMAL, who was the historic home of Redskins games on the D.C. airwaves for 1942 to 1956 and 1963 to 1991.
