WASHINGTON – (WMAL) Prince George’s County Police said a man confessed to killing three young girls inside a home in Clinton on Friday morning, but they do not know why he did it.

25-year-old Antonio Williams confessed to the killings, police said. His sister, six-year-old Nadira Withers, was found stabbed to death along with two cousins, nine-year-old Ariana Decree and six-year-old Ajayah Decree. Police said Williams was watching them while Withers’ mother worked an overnight shift. The two cousins were visiting from New Jersey.

“He was the sole care and custody of these three girls,” Police Captain Anthony Schartner told reporters Saturday. “Mr. Williams has confessed to killing all three. At this point, we do not have a motive. We don’t know exactly why he stabbed these three young, beautiful girls.”

Police said Williams lived on the same block of Brooke Jane Drive as the house where the girls were found.Williams has been charged with three counts each of first- and second-degree murder and related charges. He is being held without bond.
