Leesburg Man Charged for 2001 Cold Case Homicide

WASHINGTON — (CNN)  A 36-year-old Leesburg man has been charged a suspect in connection with the 2001 Temple Hills Cold Case Homicide.

Antwan Green has been charged with first and second degree murder. He is currently in custody in Fairfax County on unrelated charges and is awaiting extradition to Prince George’s County.

According to the police report, on October 9, 2001 around 11:45 pm , officers were called to 3400 block of Brinkley Road for a reported shooting. Officers found a 24-year-old Reston man suffering several gunshot wounds. Taj Noble was pronounced dead on the scene. Detectives developed Green as the suspect and charged him for this case.
