La Plata, Md. (WMAL) — A grand jury has returned a 206 count indictment against Carlos Bell.

As WMAL previously reported, Bell, a former teacher’s aide at Benjamin Stoddert Middle School in Waldorf, was indicted on more than 100 counts of alleged sexual abuse in July.

This is Bell’s third indictment. According to the State’s Attorney’s Office in Charles County, this indictment covers 42 alleged victims, of which 28 have been identified, over a two-year time period.

Bell is scheduled to go on trial for these charges in early January 2018. However, the Charles County Sheriff’s Office is sill investigating Bell. They request parents and guardians of children who had contact with Bell to speak to their kids and report any relevant information.
