President Donald Trump has picked a San Antonio-based digital guru to run his 2020 re-election campaign, according to multiple reports.Brad Parscale, whose San Antonio web design firm played a leading role in Trump’s digital efforts in the 2016 race, will be campaign manager for 2020. Parscale worked for Trump long before Trump became a political candidate, and Parscale’s firm was paid millions of dollars during the 2016 campaign.The decision, first reported by The Drudge Report and later confirmed by CNN, comes nearly 1,000 days before the 2020 election, and Trump changed campaign managers multiple times during the 2016 race. Golden State Warriors to swap White House visit for trip to African-American History museum (The Hill)

The Golden State Warriors are planning to go to the National Museum of African-American History and Culture during their time in Washington, D.C. this week after President Trump disinvited the NBA champions from the White House.

Florida lawmakers consider gun proposals, including age restrictions and arming teachers (WJLA)

The Florida Senate Rules Committee has voted 9-4 for a bill that would raise the age to purchase rifles from 18 to 21 and create a three-day waiting period to buy the weapons. Those rules are already in place for handguns. The bill also would make it easier to block gun sales or confiscate weapons from people who show violent tendencies or signs of mental illness.The bill approved Monday also would let Florida counties authorize teachers to carry concealed weapons in school if they undergo law enforcement training and are deputized by the local sheriff’s office. A California university is offering a class focused solely on the topic of removing President Trump from office.San Diego State University is offering a one-unit course in March called “Trump: Impeachment, Removal or Conviction?” taught by Professor John Joseph Cleary.“Focus will be on the two constitutional grounds: impeachment and removal (25th Amendment), and the possible charges of the independent counsel,” the course description reads in part, as first reported by university watchdog group, Campus Reform.
