Maryland County Changes Attitude, Bars Students From Walkout (CBS Baltimore)

A Maryland county school district that allowed students to walk out last month to protest gun violence has promised consequences for those that participate this month.

Carroll County School Board Superintendent Stephen Guthrie said Thursday that the student-led protests have become increasingly political. He tells The Baltimore Sun that the upcoming walkout on April 20 has been hijacked by “adults and others to change the narrative” and tie their agendas to the protests. [Read More]

Trump says ‘slime ball’ Comey ‘should be prosecuted’ for leaking classified info as fired former FBI chief goes on offense and says salacious golden-showers story is ‘possible’ (Daily Mail)

President Donald Trump on Friday called former FBI director James Comey an ‘untruthful slime ball’ and ‘a PROVEN LEAKER AND LIAR’ who ‘should be prosecuted’ for putting classified information in view of the media.

‘James Comey is a proven LEAKER & LIAR. Virtually everyone in Washington thought he should be fired for the terrible job he did-until he was, in fact, fired,’ Trump wrote in a pair of statements on Twitter. ‘He leaked CLASSIFIED information, for which he should be prosecuted. He lied to Congress under OATH.’

‘He is a weak and untruthful slime ball who was, as time has proven, a terrible Director of the FBI. His handling of the Crooked Hillary Clinton case, and the events surrounding it, will go down as one of the worst “botch jobs” of history. It was my great honor to fire James Comey!’ [Read More]

WATCH: RNC Releases Brutal Video Of Democrats Attacking Comey’s Credibility (Daily Wire)

On Thursday, the Republican Party began an all-out assault on disgraced former FBI Director James Comey’s credibility ahead of his upcoming book release and his interview this Sunday with George Stephanopoulos.

“Comey is a liar and a leaker and his misconduct led both Republicans and Democrats to call for his firing,” RNC chairwoman Ronna Romney McDaniel said. “If Comey wants the spotlight back on him, we’ll make sure the American people understand why he has no one but himself to blame for his complete lack of credibility.” [Read More]

Penn State drops homecoming ‘king and queen’ titles, changes to gender-neutral term (Fox News)

Students at Penn State University will no longer be able to say they are the homecoming queen or king – instead the titles have become gender-neutral so as to be “welcoming to all.”

PSU’s 2018 Homecoming Executive Committee and Royalty Committee – instead of honoring one man and one woman through campus popular vote – will now give two students “regardless of their gender, gender identity, and/or gender expression” the title of “Guide State Forward Award” winner, selected by a faculty-staff panel to represent the senior class, according to a press release.
