Trump completes interviews of Supreme Court candidates, as shortlist shrinks (Fox News)

President Trump has completed the interview process for Supreme Court candidates after speaking with six judges, a source with knowledge of the selection process tells Fox News.

The president and his vetting team have moved quickly ahead of an expected announcement on Monday.

While liberal advocacy groups and others are gearing up for a major confirmation fight, Trump is charging ahead with an imminent decision to fill the seat of retiring Justice Anthony Kennedy, and potentially move the court more solidly to the right.

Fox News is told that Trump has interviewed six candidates: Appeals court judges Brett Kavanaugh, Raymond Kethledge, Amy Coney Barrett, Amul Thapar, Joan Larsen and Thomas Hardiman. The interviews comprised seven conversations – Trump talked to one candidate twice.  [Read More]

Country band says Facebook censored ‘I stand for the flag’ song promo for ‘political content’ (American Military News)

Nashville-based country music group The Wes Cook Band said that Facebook did not allow them use the social platform’s paid tools to promote the group’s song, “I Stand for the Flag,” because of “political content.”

The band released their music video on Tuesday and had intended to promote the song using Facebook’s paid promotions tools, according to Yahoo. [Read More]

On the Fourth of July, inspired by his love for “this country, our values and our people,” the expert media-manipulating lawyer of porn star Stormy Daniels, Michael Avenatti, announced that he will run for President of the United States “IF” Donald Trump runs for re-election and the Democrats don’t have anybody with a “real” shot at taking down Trump.

“IF (big) he seeks re-election, I will run, but only if I think that there is no other candidate in the race that has a REAL chance at beating him. We can’t relive 2016. I love this country, our values and our people too much to sit by while they are destroyed,” Avenatti tweeted Wednesday.
