WASHINGTON (WMAL) – A Loudoun County Public School employee is behind bars after being arrested Friday and charged with unlawful filming of students at Woodgrove High School in Purcellville.

The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office said school employees told the school resource officer Friday that 30-year-old Samuel Hermens was seen possibly taking upskirt pictures of girls at the school with his cell phone. The sheriff’s office said it happened in the hallway of the school Friday morning.

Hermens is an itinerant specialized instructional facilitator for reading in the Loudoun school system.

He’s being held without bond at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center.
