  • KENTUCKY DERBY: For the first time in the history of the race, the horse who crossed the finish line first at the Kentucky Derby was disqualified for interference and stripped of his title. On Saturday, Maximum Security won America’s most famous race on the track.  Until he didn’t. Country House was declared the winner after racing stewards ruled that Maximum Security interfered with other horses. The colt’s owner is still considering an appeal.
