WASHINGTON – Radio host Rush Limbaugh announced in a memo on his website that he missed Monday’s show due to the flu.
According to a post on his website, Limbaugh said he spent the weekend being successfully treated in a “super-secret hospital.”
He mentioned that his doctors insisted he miss the show to do a “veritable quarantine” for the flu.
Limbaugh also specified that the flu is unrelated to anything else going on with his health. Earlier this month, Limbaugh announced he had advanced lung cancer.
He said he plans on being back on the air for his Tuesday show.
