Wegmans to Reduce Hours of Operation due to Coronavirus

WASHINGTON– Wegmans has announced it will be closing earlier at night to help clean and restock stores due to the Coronavirus. The company also says it has added additional hand sanitizer stations, restricted use of re-usable cups to the self-serve coffee bar only, and increased the number of signs providing reusable bag cleaning instructions.

In a statement on their website, the grocery store chain says the new hours are as follows:

Temporary change in hours of operation:
We are changing our hours of operation to better serve our customers and communities. This additional time will be used to clean our stores and restock products.Our temporary store hours are:

  • All New York State stores (excluding Brooklyn) and Erie, Pennsylvania: 6 am – 12 am
  • New England, New Jersey, Virginia, Pennsylvania (Excluding Erie), North Carolina stores: 6 am – 11 pm
  • Maryland stores: 6 am – 10 pm
  • Brooklyn: 7 am – 11 pm
