Appeals Court Order In Michael Flynn Case Bodes Well For Him, Poorly For Judge Sullivan (The Federalist)

Retired Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn and his legal team, led by attorney Sidney Powell, received promising news Thursday from the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals. In a rare move, a three-judge panel ordered Judge Emmet Sullivan, the presiding judge in the long-running criminal case against Flynn, to respond to Powell’s petition for a writ of mandamus. In that petition, Powell asked the appellate court to order Sullivan to grant the government’s motion to dismiss the criminal charge against Flynn. Fairfax County cancels summer camp programs (Inside Nova)

The cancellations include all park authority camp programs, REC-Pac programs held at local schools, summer camp programs sponsored by community services and school-aged child care programs.

Organizers recognized that the programs represent childcare and recreational opportunities for thousands of families across Fairfax County, according to a news release, but made the decision to cancel after consulting with local health officials, school representatives, other regional recreation providers and local government officials. Joe Biden apologized Friday for having told a popular radio host and African American voters in an interview that “you ain’t black” if they back President Donald Trump’s reelection.

At the end of an 18-minute radio interview with The Breakfast Club’s Charlamagne tha God airing Friday morning, Biden responded to the host’s desire for the candidate to answer more questions by saying,”You got more questions?
