These updated street names pay respect to Hall of Fame Head Coach Joe Gibbs and safety Sean Taylor, who are both members of Washington’s Ring of Fame.
According to the team, the changes are part of its rebrand. Each street will be officially renamed ahead of the team’s 2020 season opener.
The team said the full mailing address of its franchise headquarters In Ashburn, Virginia, will be 21300 Coach Gibbs Drive.
“The renaming of these streets along with all of the changes being made to our stadium are just part of our long-term goal of improving every element of the Washington Football Team, both off and on the field,” team owner Dan Snyder said in a statement.
