WASHINGTON– After a brief hiatus from “The Mark Levin Show”, heard weeknights here on WMAL, host Mark Levin returned Wednesday and announced he is recovering after receiving another stent in his heart.

Levin, 64 opened the show by saying last week he wasn’t feeling well, and that the pain got worse over the weekend, when he attended a festival in Virginia with his wife and mother-in-law.

“I dropped them off at a spot and I parked. When I walked from the car about 100, 120 feet…I had tremendous pressure on my chest and I couldn’t breathe very well,” Levin said.

Levin, who has previously had bypass surgery and stents in the past said the pain intensified that night.   He then went to a local hospital where another stent was implanted.

“Unfortunately, it (the heart disease) is fairly aggressive..as the cardiologist told me…and it has dispersed, but the main blockage, was 90% blocked has been addressed, there’s a few others and we should be able to keep them under control,” Levin added.
