President Trump plans to hold back-to-back rallies in Kansas and Iowa on Sunday, reversing plans to revert to telerallies.
A source familiar with the plan said Mr. Trump “loves his supporters” and will conduct the in-person events alongside nearly 20 telerallies.
“No one works harder, fights harder or loves the American people more than President Donald J. Trump!” the source told The Washington Times.
Earlier this week, Mr. Trump scrapped rallies in the Midwestern states, causing a stir.
Sen. Roger Marshall, Kansas Republican, is in a tight race with Democratic nominee Adam Hamilton in a state that Mr. Trump carried easily in 2024.
Mr. Marshall on Thursday told reporters that he was faring fine in Kansas and that perhaps Mr. Trump felt like he didn’t need to visit.
However, the president put the rally back on his schedule and did a radio interview early Friday promoting Mr. Marshall.
