LISTEN: SEN. TED CRUZ: I’ll Debate Sen. Elizabeth Warren Any Time, Any Place

After receiving a round of applause on the CPAC stage, Sen. Ted Cruz joined Larry O’Connor for a Facebook live interview. During their exchange, Sen. Cruz discussed the Conservative movement in America, the delay of the Obamacare repeal and much more.

Specifically, Sen. Cruz had a special message for Sen. Elizabeth Warren:

Sen. Cruz: There’s no doubt that the administration can do a great deal on the executive and regulatory side. I know the new Secretary of Health and Human Services is looking aggressively in doing that. Now they need to do it consistent with the law. They shouldn’t do anything along the lines of what Obama did, simply refusing to enforce the law. But under the terms of Obamacare, the Secretary of HHS is given a great deal of discretion. I think they’re going to act to relieve some of those burdens, but that’s not a long term solution. The problem with that is there will be another President – and God forbid we have a President Elizabeth Warren – if the relief from Obamacare is just regulatory, you better believe that the next Democratic President will put it back. We need to take Obamacare out and kill it permanently.

O’Connor: Senator Cruz, you just mentioned Elizabeth Warren it reminded me, you just did a great throw down debate over healthcare with Senator Bernie Sanders, would you accept a debate with Sen. Elizabeth Warren?

Sen. Cruz: Absolutely.

O’Connor: Any time, any place?

Sen. Cruz: Oh, sure!
