Put ’em up … PUT ‘EM UP! Tom Arnold gets all BIG and bad, picks fight with Dave Rubin and ZOMG LOL (Twitchy)

Have we mentioned lately that the Left has lost their ever-loving minds? Because holy cow, they absolutely are on the train to Unhinged-ville.

Mark Duplass DARED suggest that liberals interested in crossing the aisle follow Ben Shapiro and people lost their damn minds. Over a follow suggestion.

Yeah, we know, they’re ridiculous.

Dave  Rubin tweeted about it: [Read More]

CEOs vs. Workers [Jacobin Mag]

On Monday night, Vermont senator Bernie Sanders hosted a live-streamed town hall with five low-wage workers — one each from Amazon, American Airlines, Disney, McDonald’s, and Walmart. The workers sat on one side of the stage, while on the other idled five empty chairs, each emblazoned with the name of an absent CEO. Sanders had invited the executives to participate in the discussion, but none had agreed. [Read More]

Elizabeth Warren sees Ocasio-Cortez’s ‘everybody’s working 2 jobs’ claim and DOUBLES it [Twitchy]

As Twitchy told you a couple days ago, socialist Dem darling Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez tried to explain the low unemployment rate by saying it’s because everybody’s working two jobs.

Ellison: National Borders Create ‘An Injustice’ for ‘Regular People’ Seeking Higher Wages (Washington Free Beacon)

Rep. Keith Ellison (D., Minn.), deputy chair of the Democratic National Committee, on Wednesday said that national borders create “an injustice” for “regular people” seeking out the highest wages possible.

Ellison, who announced last month that he will not run for reelection to Congress and instead launch a bid for Minnesota attorney general, did an interview with Rabbi Michael Lerner in which they discussed several issues, including immigration and the situation at the U.S.-Mexico border.

“And I might also mention to you, rabbi, and everyone listening, that, look, the so-called, or what we used to call the first world, the developed part of the globe, relies for its prosperity, let’s be honest, on low wages, low levels of civil- and human-rights enforcement, low levels of environmental protection in what we used to call the third world, right?” Ellison said. Alaska congressional candidate has never visited the state: AP (The Hill)

A congressional candidate on Alaska’s Democratic primary ballot has reportedly never visited the state.

The Associated Press reported on Wednesday that Carol Hafner, who is running to challenge Rep. Don Young (R) for Alaska’s at-large House seat, neither lives in nor has traveled to the state. Hafner listed New Jersey and South Dakota as her addresses in her candidate filing and says she has no plans to campaign in person.

The Constitution states that in order to serve in Congress one must meet age and citizenship requirements and inhabit the state at the time of one’s election. [Read More]

Brewers reliever Josh Hader remorseful for offensive tweets (ESPN)

Josh Hader‘s All-Star experience went from bad to worse.

After a bumpy outing in his first All-Star appearance, the Milwaukee Brewersreliever suddenly found himself caught up in a Twitter firestorm. Late during Tuesday night’s All-Star Game, some racist and anti-gay tweets that Hader sent when he was a teenager surfaced.

After the game, Hader apologized for his actions.

“You know, it was something that happened when I was 17 years old,” he said. “As a child, I was immature, and I obviously said some things that were inexcusable. That doesn’t reflect on who I am as a person today, and that’s just what it is.” [Read More]
