Memo: FBI recommended Michael Flynn not have lawyer present during interview, did not warn of false statement consequences (Washington Examiner)

Former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, who arranged the bureau’s interview with then-national security adviser Michael Flynn at the White House on Jan. 24, 2017 — the interview that ultimately led to Flynn’s guilty plea on one count of making false statements — suggested Flynn not have a lawyer present at the session, according to newly-filed court documents. In addition, FBI officials, along with the two agents who interviewed Flynn, decided specifically not to warn him that there would be penalties for making false statements because the agents wanted to ensure that Flynn was “relaxed” during the session.

The new information, drawn from McCabe’s account of events plus the FBI agents’ writeup of the interview — the so-called 302 report — is contained in a sentencing memo filed Tuesday by Flynn’s defense team. [Read More]

Draining the swamp, clearing the burrows: DC’s war on rats (AP)

Andre Pittman and Gregory Cornes are on a mission to rid Washington of opportunistic vermin.

The Feminist Life Script Has Made Many Women Miserable. Don’t Let It Sucker You

Our culture is so saturated with feminism that even conservatives and devoutly religious people like me think inside its wheel ruts. No matter how the evidence piles up in heartbreak after heartbreak, many women continue to give themselves cognitive dissonance. We all want to believe that we’re exceptional, that patterns of human behavior don’t apply to us. That while bad things happened to other people who did the same things we are or want to, those bad things won’t happen to us, too. We’re special. We’re different. [Read More]

Pelosi Mocks Trump: ‘As If Manhood Could Ever Be Associated With Him’ (The Daily Wire)

After the contentious meeting on Tuesday between President Trump on one side and House Democratic leader Nancy Pelosi and Senate minority leader Chuck Schumer on the other, Pelosi threw a tantrum, mocking Trump and using language that sounded precisely like a bratty schoolchild.

According to The Hill, sources said Pelosi exclaimed, “It was so wild. It goes to show you: You get into a tinkle contest with a skunk, you get tinkle all over you.” [Read More]

Arizona HOA bans Christmas decorations this season (FOX News)

A homeowners association in Arizona is getting some Christmas jeers after they reportedly decided to ban any outdoor decorations this season.

The resident of a condo complex in North Phoenix received a memo this week saying they’re not allowed to put up any decorations on the outside of their homes this year.

“I really did feel sad to come into ours, which is usually lit up with beautiful decorations, and there was nothing, so it did kind of feel a little sad,” condo resident Lorene Jarvis told FOX10. [Read More]
