(NBC Washington) — A billboard for Equinox Fitness gym in Bethesda, Md. is raising some eyebrows.

The ad in downtown Bethesda depicts a model in a tight-fitting dress, perched on a pool table, and reads, “Dexterity. By Equinox.”

Some residents told WTOP they find the ad sexist, but others said they don’t mind seeing the scantily-clad woman.

“I’m okay with it,” Andrew Lockman, who has a clear view of the billboard from his office told WTOP. “Good looking girls sell lots of things including beer, cigarettes… why not gym memberships?”

Officials with Equinox have not commented on the billboard, but some locals told WTOP they plan on “forcing” the company to take down the ad.
