WASHINGTON — (WMAL) A former Montgomery County District Court Commissioner pleaded guilty to misconduct in office for taking an up-skirt photo of a Montgomery County Assistant State’s Attorney.

It happened last November when Israel Mangroo asked the attorney to come to his office to explain some information to him. While the attorney was reviewing the information on Mangroo’s computer screen, he snapped the photo.

“His actions violated the victim’s rights and privacy as well as the public trust and I’m pleased that he has accepted responsibility for what he did,” said Prince George’s County State’s Attorney Angela Alsobrooks whose office handled the case to avoid potential conflicts of interest.

Mangroo was fired after being indicted last year.
