ROCKVILLE, MD — (WMAL) A Rockville bank robber made off with an undisclosed amount of cash last week, but not before giving the surveillance camera a good look at his face.
Surveillance video shows a man passing a note to the Sun Trust bank teller which insinuated that he was carrying an explosive device and demanding money. Meanwhile, his fake beard slid off, revealing the man’s face. He reapplied the beard and carried on with his crime.
Although he wore large aviator sunglasses, a hoodie, and the false beard, police were able to make out a tattoo on the suspect’s right arm.
A cash reward of up to $10,000 has been established by Crime Solvers for information leading to his arrest – which shouldn’t be too difficult, all things considered.
