The Washington Nationals have announced they will be playing an exhibition game at the Naval Academy against the Boston Red Sox on April 1st. The game is not open to the public, only midshipmen. No tickets are being sold.

Valerie Camillo, Chef Marketing Executive for the Nationals, tells us, “This isn’t about generating revenue. This is about doing something for the military and for those who serve.”

The Nationals will play an exhibition game at the Naval Academy each of the next three years, through 2019. The Nationals’ opponent for the games in 2018 and 2019 will be determined at a future date.

The game will be broadcast from Max Bishop Stadium at 2 p.m. on ESPN April 1st.
