1 Dead and 2 Seriously Injured After Multi-Vehicle Crash in Annapolis

ANNAPOLIS — (WMAL) One person is dead and two are seriously injured after a multi-vehicle crash on the eastbound side of Route 50 in Anne Arundel County.

A 15-month-year-old child was critically injured and transported to the hospital by a Maryland State Police helicopter, along with a 50 year-old-male who was severely trapped, according to the county fire spokesman Russ Davis.

The eastbound side of the highway will be closed until at least 7 pm.

Police are investigating the crash.
