City Of Falls Church Police Officer Arrested By FBI For Internet Crimes Against Children

WASHINGTON (WMAL) – City of Falls Church Police officer Robert MacSeain, 29, was arrested Wednesday by the FBI and charged with 10 counts involving Internet crimes against children according to a press release from police.

Police said MacSeain’s been suspended while an internal investigation’s done, an d all his police authority, equipment and access have been revoked.

The police department said it’s cooperating with the FBI’s investigation.

MacSeain started working with the department as a dispatcher in 2011 and was sworn in as an office in January of 2017 and has worked the midnight shift since then according to the press release.

A spokesperson with the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office said Thursday afternoon MacSeain is being held at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center.
