WASHINGTON (WMAL) – JetBlue will discontinue service from Dulles to Boston and New York’s JFK on Jan. 8, 2019.
“In the Washington, D.C. region JetBlue customers have demonstrated they prefer travelling to and from the city’s centrally located Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA),” the airline said in a statement.
There are still options for people who want to fly from Dulles to Boston or JFK. Christina Saull with the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority said United offers four flights a day from Dulles to Boston, and Delta has three flights a day from Dulles to JFK.
JetBlue said it will continue to fly out of Reagan offering up to 10 flights from DCA to Boston as well as flights to 11 other destinations.
JeBlue does not offer service from Reagan to JFK, but Saull said several other airlines do.
