5am – A/B/C Who is to blaime for the violent left?

  • Portland authorities allowed a small group of Black Lives Matter and antifa protesters to take over a busy street in downtown Portland over the weekend, where they redirected traffic and bullied drivers — and it wasn’t for the first time.
  • Google exec slams GOP over Kavanaugh nomination: ‘F–k. You. All. To. Hell’
  • Media’s Kavanaugh Coverage Was Biased, 45 Percent of Americans Say
  • Over the summer, the broadcast networks have continued to pound Donald Trump and his team with the most hostile coverage of a President in TV news history — 92 percent negative, vs. just eight percent positive.

5am – D Nikki Haley resigns as UN ambassador, stays mum on next move (Fox News) Nikki Haley abruptly announced her resignation Tuesday as U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, catching staff and lawmakers by surprise and leaving Washington guessing about the next move for one of the administration’s most prominent figures. Speaking in the Oval Office alongside President Trump, who accepted the resignation, Haley said she would serve through the end of 2018. She preemptively sought to mute speculation she might run against her old boss, stressing that she will support Trump and will not campaign for the White House in 2020. Haley called her time at the U.N. a “blessing,” but offered no reason for leaving other than a belief that government officials must know “when it’s time to step aside.”

5am – E Gwyneth Paltrow’s Goop has been accused of peddling pseudoscience. She’s not having it. (Washington Post) Gwyneth Paltrow’s wellness brand, Goop, has promoted “energy stickers” made from “the same conductive carbon material NASA uses to line space suits” — even though the stickers had nothing to do with spacesuits at all. And coffee enemas. And vaginal steaming. And those eggs made from jade — the ones that were supposed to be inserted into women’s vaginas to help them “get better connected to the power within.” That may not be advisable. One gynecologist called the vaginal eggs “the biggest load of garbage” — and the green orbs ended up costing the company $145,000 in civil penalties last month.

6am – A/B/C Trumpism is winning, and that’s terrifying (CNN) What is Trumpism? To many, Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation to the US Supreme Court is not just a victory for President Donald Trump, but for Trumpism at large. And it is this fact that unsettles so much of the nation. Trump’s presidency is marked not by political ideology but by personality. As former Secretary of State Colin Powell, a Republican, told CNN’s Fareed Zakaria, “We the people” has been replaced by “me the president.” This Trumpian way of operating values winning over decency and power over unity. It is also a force that has proven to be both effective and infectious, and its malevolence is terrifying.

6am – D INTERVIEW – Ray Stagich –   Meteorologist for The Weather Channel

Topic: Hurricane Michael

  • Hurricane Michael intensifies to Category 2; May be Florida Panhandle’s strongest landfall in 13  years

6am – E  Six months of jail awaits trick or treaters over 12 in Virginia town (ABC) In parts of Virginia, anyone 13 or older who goes trick-or-treating can be sent to jail for up to six months according to HRScene.com. And no matter what age, trick-or-treating after 8 p.m. can land you in the clink for up to 30 days. Fines range between $25 and $100. While Chesapeake, Virginia’s code is pretty strict, the city isn’t alone

6am – F  Rand Paul warns of ‘assassination’ peril after Kavanaugh confirmation: ‘I really worry someone is going to be killed’ (Fox News) Following the bitterly partisan, acrimonious confirmation battle over Associate Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh, Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., warned in an interview on Tuesday that heated political rhetoric has the potential to turn deadly. “I fear that there’s going to be an assassination,” Paul told a Kentucky radio show. “I really worry that somebody is going to be killed, and that those who are ratcheting up the conversation … they have to realize they bear some responsibility if this elevates to violence.”

7am – C Hillary: Accusations of Misconduct Against Bill Different Than Ones Against Trump (NTK Network) CNN’s Christiane Amanpour asked Clinton what was different about the allegations of sexual misconduct against her husband, compared to the allegations against Trump and Justice Brett Kavanaugh. “There’s a very significant difference, and that is the intense, long-lasting, partisan investigation that was conducted in the ’90s,” Clinton said. “If the Republicans, starting with President Trump on down, want a comparison, they should welcome such an investigation themselves.”

7am-D  INTERVIEW – Chris Carter – National Correspondent for One America News Network covering New York and the United Nations

Topic: Nikki Haley Resignation

  • President Trump has accepted Nikki Haley’s resignation as UN Ambassador, the two said Tuesday morning in a public Oval Office meeting. She will exit at the end of the year, Trump said, and he plans to decide on a replacement in the coming weeks. Trump told reporters Tuesday that Haley raised the possibility of taking a break six months ago, and that she’s welcome back at any time.

The new non-binary identity category, known as X, is for those who don’t consider their gender to be male or female.

8am – A INTERVIEW – Joe Concha – Media Reporter for The Hill

Topic: Media’s Role in Leftist Violence

  • Anger management: Outraged liberal pundits declaring war after Kavanaugh

8am – B  Trump: ‘The centrist Democratic Party is dead’ (Washington Examiner) President Trump declared Wednesday that the Democratic Party is no longer a centrist party, and instead is one that is being pulled toward radical socialism. “The truth is that the centrist Democratic Party is dead,” Trump said in a rare opinion piece published in USA Today Wednesday morning. “The new Democrats are radical socialists who want to model America’s economy after Venezuela.” “If Democrats win control of Congress this November, we will come dangerously closer to socialism in America,” Trump said, adding that socialism would bring “suffering, misery, and decay” just as it has in Venezuela.

8am – C  Avenatti proposes charity MMA fight with Trump Jr. (The Hill) Michael Avenatti is offering to fight Donald Trump Jr. in a three-round MMA fight for charity.
