- In an escalation of attacks against the late GOP Senator John McCain, President Trump is complaining that he wasn’t thanked for approving McCain’s state funeral. In a speech at a factory in Ohio, the president said he “didn’t get a thank you,” adding, “That’s OK. We sent him on the way,” and repeating, “I wasn’t a fan of John McCain.”
- President Trump is ramping up his feud with White House aide Kellyanne Conway’s spouse, calling George Conway a “husband from hell” and prompting Conway to renew his accusation that the president is mentally unfit.
