Update: 7/26/19 – D.C. Police arrested a 17-year-old boy from Souteast and charged him with aggravated assault for his alleged role in beating a man outside the Washington Hilton on July 14 with a gang of other teens.

Police did not say how they found the teen or if others seen in the video have been identified. The department did say the investigation into the incident continues and asked anyone who knows anything about it or recognizes anyone in the video to contact them.

WASHINGTON (WMAL) 7/25/19 – Two men were attacked by a mob of teens outside the Washington Hilton in DuPont Circle around 1 a.m. July 14, and it was all caught on tape. You can watch here:

Surveillance video shows two men walking toward the hotel’s revolving doors when a teenage boy pointed at one man. D.C. Police said the teen screamed “That’s him.” The man he was with said “That’s not him. You have the wrong person.”

But the teens were undeterred and started kicking and punching the man, knocking him to the ground and continuing the attack.

The other man retreated in the door and then came out motioning for them to stop, but to no avail. The teens kept kicking the man on the ground and one punched the other man too before they all ran off.

Both victims were taken to the hospital. The man who was on the ground was admitted to the hospital with injuries to his head an eye. The second man was treated for a swollen eye and released.

Police are asking anyone who saw the incident or recognizes the 10 teens in the video – who are between the ages of 13 and 14 – to call them.
