WASHINGTON (WMAL) – Dan Snyder, the owner of the Washington Redskins, released a statement on Friday, condemning the conduct that was described in a recent report on the team from The Washington Post.

In the release, Snyder said the behavior described in the article has no place in the franchise or society. He also talked about the investigation that is underway surrounding the team.

Earlier this week, the team hired Beth Wilkinson and her firm to conduct an investigation of the team’s culture. Snyder hopes this will create a new culture for the team.

“Upon completion of her work, we will institute new policies and procedures and strengthen our human resources infrastructure to not only avoid these issues in the future but most importantly create a team culture that is respectful and inclusive of all,” Snyder said in the release.
