WASHINGTON – The Maryland State Board Of Elections has approved Prince George’s County’s request for FedExField to be used as a vote center this November.

According to a press release from Prince George’s County Executive Angela Alsobrooks, any registered voter in the county can use the stadium to vote on Election Day.

“I want to express my gratitude to Washington Football Team for being such wonderful community partners here in Prince George’s, responding to our call for assistance and allowing us to use the third floor club level of FedExField as a vote center,” Alsobrooks said in a statement. “During these unprecedented times, and during an unprecedented election, it is so critical that we have large venues that will allow us to safely accommodate those who wish to cast a ballot in person.”

The stadium will be open to voters on Election Day, November 3, from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. It is one of 41 Election Day Vote Centers available to registered voters across the county.

For those who want to vote prior to Election Day, the county will also have 11 Early Voting Centers open from October 26 through November 2. These centers will operate from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. each day.

The deadline to register to vote in Maryland is Tuesday, October 13. Mail-in ballot applications must also be received by the Maryland State Board of Elections by October 20.

“We’re thrilled to be partnering with the County to provide a safe option for Prince George’s County voters,” Jason Wright, President of the Washington Football Team, said in a statement. “We will continue to work with the County to ensure that voting is accessible to all.”
