Police arrest two suspects in connection with fatal shootings of Springfield couple

UPDATE: 4 p.m. – Fairfax County Police have arrested Marshall and another suspect in connection with the fatal shootings of Col. Edward McDaniel, 55, and his wife, Brenda, 63, in the yard of their Springfield home Wednesday morning. Police chief Kevin Davis will hold a press conference with more information at 6 Thursday night.

WASHINGTON – Fairfax County Police have identified a suspect in connection to the double homicide of a couple from Springfield, Virginia.

Police are searching for Ronnie Keandre Marshall, 20, who is wanted in connection to yesterday’s double murder at a home in the 8000 block of Flint Street.

Marshall has been charged with two counts of murder and two counts of using a firearm in the commission of a felony.

Investigators said Marshall is considered armed and dangerous.

Police said they have already arrested a second person of interest.

They also found the vehicle of interest, a 2018 Nissan Altima, thanks to a community tip.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call 911.
